Nursing license transfer...? - lpn license check ny
I have my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas LPN getting transferred to New York. How can I do? I checked the State Board of Nursing Web site New York and could not really find much information. You did not take on another NCLEX in New York, right?

I am an RN and have shifted in many countries since the conclusion (including the states of New York), never to repeat the licensing examination. (I have a license in Ohio, New York had, Arizona, PA).
But most states have certain criteria that you must have passed the test with a precise% to obtain a license in your state.
The State Board of Nursing for a state has the information you need. Look under the license of nursing care and reciprocity. If you can not find on the page, they call, and they have all the answers for you. It's really a simple process.
You should know that it takes several weeks to come through to your license may apply for a temporary license, but some employers are honored to require the use and custom, until you have your permanent license to the place that ---- transfer - cases by applying for a license early.
You should not repeat the NCLEX examination, because it is a national test. You should call the Board of Nursing, New York, they should pay a license fee in New York and completed the paperwork and wait for approval. Good luck!
